Computer problems again! - so if I should fall silent......

Just thought I ought to post to say that if I disappear for a while it's because my computer is playing its merry tricks once more. Thought I'd better post that 'news' while I can because any silence now after my last blog might lead some to think that something dreadful has happened - which may well be the case, but only on a technological level. Otherwise health is okay and continuing to recover. See y'all later when I can get this ruddy thing fixed.

  3. Happy to learn that you are improving. Hope that your doctor gives you a good report.

Wishing you good luck with your computer. Can't wait when the time arrives that you and your computer are running smoothly.

I am going to see "Last Weekend" with Patricia Clarkson this afternoon and am so looking forward to it. Hope you see it this week and review it

    Sending positive thoughts to you.

  4. Improvement maintained, Paul, though the computer one is very iffy. but thanks for your thoughts.

I don't think 'Last Weekend' has opened here yet, but it might have sneaked in under my radar. I looked it up on IMDb and it seems that most opinions haven't been too favourable. So it now all seems to depend on what you're going to say.

  5. No, I hadn't thought of that, Stephen, but what holds me back in doing virtually anything is that I'm such an ignoramus in computer matters it's so easy to bamboozle me into doing something I'm going to regret - or pay for something I needn't have. (I've never had or even used a mobile phone. Such things almost scare me!) Still, thanks for your thoughts. I'll 'file' it until I have the courage to follow it up. (I only wish I had someone physically present at hand to advise me and keep me on the right track.)
    Cheers.
