Cinema visits returning.

Though now they'll likely be very sporadic.

Booked to see the eagerly-awaited (by me) 'Tenet' at this local seafront cinema next Tuesday, which'll be just two days shy of six months since seeing my last film.

Told you this posting was going to be concise.

  1. I shall look forward to your review and what you make of the experience in these changed times.

    1. It's ,may not be very comfortable, Carol. Everyone spaced out, which is fair enough - but I'm not sure if one has to remain masked for the duration, and it's a long film. But we'll do what's necessary.

    2. Here, you WOULD have to remain masked. I can't remember the last time we went to a cinema (aka movie theatre). Years and years. I hope you enjoy it and it becomes an easy and relaxing thing for you to do.

    3. Some cinemas in this country, though only the minority, require continuous mask-wearing, Mitch. I collected my reserved ticket today but forgot to ask them, though can't see anything on their website about it. Will do whatever's required, even if wearing for three hours non-stop is a tough call, as it will be.

  2. I bet you are so looking forward to getting back into a theater.
Almost as much as I look forward to your reviews.
    Stay safe, sir!

    1. To be honest, Bob, I'm hardly at all looking forward to returning. I've already decided that frequent such excursions are a thing of the past. It'll only be if a film captures my imagination - and Christopher Nolan does - will I go, NOT, as before going because I feel I ought to whether I wanted to see it or no.

    1. They always look nicer in photographs than in reality, W.Q. It's over 100 years old but it's a bit creaky now - squeaky seats too close together with inadequate leg room, sound quality not the best - but I have been in many cinemas which are a lot worse.

    1. It'll be a major disappointment if I don't like this film, Jennifer, which I've been looking forward to seeing for several months. But it's looking promising.

    1. Thanks ever so. Although, as you know, I do follow you I have to admit to having a tendency to tell myself that I'll come back to it later, and the intention often gets overtaken by events or circumstances. But yours isn't the only blog to which I do that - if that's a saving grace, which it probably isn't.
