On making an exit from the cinema this afternoon.........

.......I espied this pavement billboard outside one of the adjacent eateries:-

I don't know how widespread this can be viewed - and in particular, whether it's shown in the U.S.A. (if it is, then with one word spelt the American way, of course), but it gave me a chuckle. I hope that if you also haven't seen it before then it may do the same for you.

  1. I'm in America and I haven't seen it, but I found it funny, no matter how "ass" is spelled.

    1. I somehow feel that if it was shown in your country, Kirk, it would rapidly get defaced and there'd be national calls to boycott all branches of the establishment. In England we're at a safe distance - at least I hope we are.

  2. If it were shown in the States, it would probably be censored -- or the real Rump would sue someone. I've never seen it and I love it!

    1. I'm glad I'm giving the chance of so many more to see this, Mitch. I also feel it helps get me one back on all those on the Republican side who keep mentioning 'Brexit' in order to annoy us Brits on the 'Remain' side - and, okay, it does smart on me. So Rump, the arse. Yay!

    1. I was hoping you'd see this posting, W.Q., as I was certain that you, above all, would appreciate it - which you have!

    1. Great, Sadie. If it hasn't already done so it needs someone to post it on YouTube or Facebook so it does the rounds the world over.

    1. I'm so glad I troubled myself to post it, Judith, though given how it was aimed, it was less any 'trouble' than a pleasure.

  6. Love it! (And as a vegetarian, this is the only meat ad I would support...). I can hardly wait for this nightmare to be over!

    1. As another veggie (just teetering on the edge of veganism) I of course too endorse the poster, Elle. But the real nightmare is that he could yet win and that scares me down to the roots. I'll also be so relieved when all the hullabaloo is, providing the over - providing the result is 'right' of course.

  7. You should live in Ohio...I am hoping to the gods that the polls saying he is leading here are just utterly wrong. I find it disturbing enough (and very sad) that people I considered sane, intelligent friends/neighbors are actually voting for this man. And for him to take Ohio would be too much for me.

    1. I'm concerned not only with world politics and the dangers lying therein, Elle, should the unthinkable come to pass, but from this distance I'm utterly appalled at the possibility that so many gains made over recent decades can be demolished without too much trouble, and made even easier by the SCOTUS appointments the Rump is threatening to make. I think if I'd been living in Ohio or, in fact, anywhere in the USA, my heart palpitations by now might well have seen me off! If I'd been a 'believer' (which I'm not, thank God!) I'd never be off my knees.
